Squash has been a significant part of the Rugby Club for over 50 years, and with membership now well above pre-COVID numbers, we have a range of activities that cater for all ages and abilities.

As members of the Rugby Club, your membership gives you access to the squash courts – all you need to take out is a payment for lights to play unlimited squash. If you’re new to squash, or would like to get back into it, or are an experienced player, we have a range of activities for you:

• Drills Night on Mondays from 7pm to 9pm. This is a training session to improve skills and fitness. No prior booking required – just turn up and play.

•Club Night every Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm. This is a mix-in session where players turn up and play whoever is there. It’s for all abilities so that you can meet new opponents in a social environment.

• Team Squash. We now have 6 teams representing Chester RUFC from now until the end of March: 5 teams competing in the Northwest Counties League on Thursdays and a team in the Welsh League on Mondays.

•Internal Ladder. Another great way to meet new opponents and play a competitive match.

• Coaching. We have several qualified coaches who can provide 1-1 or small group coaching to improve techniques, court awareness and build fitness.
