Our Senior Colts have had a phenomenal season, reaching the last 4 in the semi-finals of the prestigious Boys U18’s National Cup! They started their journey amongst a staggering 128 teams vying for a coveted spot in the national competition.

A Step-by-Step Look at Their Impressive Run:

Round 1: A home walkover against Longton (Staffs) gave them a strong start.
Round 2: A narrow 33-25 victory over a formidable Sandbach side showcased their grit.
Round 3: A thrilling local derby against Whitchurch saw them win 36-31, booking their place in the last 16.
Round 4: They conquered another home game against Newark (Notts) with a 24-14 win, their fast-flowing rugby proving too much to handle.
Quarter Final: A trip to the Northeast resulted in a heart-stopping 31-27 victory against Novocastrians RFC! Their exciting style and sportsmanship earned them praise from both opponents and the host club.
Semi Final: A packed Hare Lane witnessed a nail-biting encounter against Newport Salop RFC. Despite valiant efforts, the final score went 16-22 to Newport.
