Formation and History: Old Redcliffians RFC was established in 1918 by former pupils of Redcliffe Boys School, who returned from World War One. Initially, the club played at Daventry Road in Knowle until 1968, when it moved to its current ground on Scotland Lane in Brislington.
Current Status: The club runs four senior teams, a ladies' team, and a full range of junior teams. The first XV competes in National League 2 West, having achieved promotion from National League 3 South West in the 2016-17 season.
Notable Players: Old Redcliffians RFC has produced several players who have gone on to represent higher levels, including Gareth Chilcott and Ellis Genge, who has played for the England national team and Bristol Bears
