We're excited to announce an opening for a Girls Pathway Assistant Coach, working closely with our U18s girls’ team as part of our expanding Girls Age Grade Rugby programme.
About the Role
As the Assistant Coach, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality training sessions, with a particular focus on attack strategy and the kicking game. This is a fantastic opportunity to help drive performance, develop young talent, and contribute to a thriving rugby pathway for girls aged 14–18.
You’ll work closely with the Girls Pathway Lead Coach, helping to ensure our pathway aligns with the wider goals of Chester RUFC and offers an inspiring, inclusive environment for all players.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who’s enthusiastic, experienced in the women and girls’ game, and committed to growing the future of rugby. You’ll be a confident communicator with strong technical knowledge, particularly in offensive play and kicking techniques.

England Rugby Mentoring Qualification or similar
A DBS check will be required for the successful applicant.

What We’re Looking For

- England Rugby Coaching Award (ERCA) or equivalent
- Experience working in the women and girls’ game
- Full UK driving licence
- A strong advocate for inclusion and the RFU core values
