End of an Era

Demolition of the old clubhouse, which has been in place for 60 years, has begun in earnest.

You may be aware the building had previously been used as a RAF Officers' Mess in West Kirby. Contractors were used to dismantle and re-erect the building at Hare Lane, but it was the club members who pitched in to make the facility usable.

We owe them all a huge debt of gratitude.

And so an era ends - farewell old girl, you did us proud!
